Excuses OR Goals

Do you give into Excuses? 

Do you find yourself wondering why you give into excuses? Often needing to talk yourself into starting over again? I get this and I do believe others do too. You're not alone! What I have learned is that we are the hardest on ourselves and can feel bad about so many things. Forgiving ourselves sounds like a good choice to me. Here are some things that have helped me to Stop Making Excuses, Forgive and Get Moving!

1. When facing a fear I take a deep breath and say this fear doesn't come from a place of love, and will not serve me.
2. I visualize the other side of the fear as my choice and decide to push through it. Just Do it Attitude!
3. Yes, sometimes it isn't easy, but as you do it more it actually feels good to choose Love instead of " What if, anxiety and fear." Love yourself and Move on!

So if you have Fitness/Nutrition goals and your excuses are getting in the way. Just know that the sooner you get back at it and stop worrying about what you didn't do for the past months/weeks; the sooner you will start to SEE and FEEL the Results you DESIRE!! Dani's Gluten and Dairy Free Granola Bars

Dani's Gluten and Dairy Free Granola Bars Recipe: 

I use all Organic Ingredients.

1 cup of gluten free oats
1/4 cup of rice puffs
1/4 cup of raisins
1/4 cup of less of pumpkin seeds
3/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/4 cup of brown rice syrup or raw honey 
Cinnamon sprinkled in not measured
1 tsp sea salt optional
1/4 cup or cover the top with either sunflower seeds or enjoy life brand dairy free chocolate chips.

I make two different kinds, basically the difference is one has chocolate chips in it and the other one doesn't. this is because I make these for my boys and one likes chocolate and the other doesn't.

Preheat oven to 350 F.
Take a glass bowl. And pour in the oats, rice puffs, raisins, seeds, cinnamon and salt and stir, add in brown rice syrup and apple sauce and stir till all wet and combined. Scoop out into a 8 by 8 pan and push out to fit, if using a bigger pan just make a square in the middle so it isn't too thin. Spread out to be even. Sprinkle the top to cover with the chocolate chips or the sunflower seeds or combine if you like both. Cook in oven for about 12-15 minutes, Let cool and cut into square bars or long rectangle bars, depending on size you would like. I cut and then store in the fridge in a jar keeping the bars separated with non bleached parchment paper. The smaller bars I keep cut in the pan and cover and keep in the fridge. I put one in my boys lunch each day. :) I hope you enjoy.

 I am feeling pretty amazing on this Journey and I started round 2!! Before I started I was feeling like I was putting my own workouts to the side and skipping some important meals. I know better, after all I help others with this daily. I am not perfect and when I started school I dived in to it, the Holistic health coaching program is going well, and as I have been learning more I was faced with the fact that I was putting my own health to the side. I woke up and said I am doing this 21 Day fix with an accountability group and making my health important again. :) I am feeling better and my energy is back in my classes when I am teaching and I am making me a priority again. :)
Erica has lost 4 lbs so far and has started round 2 with me. I am so proud of her, she is transforming her body, adding beautiful muscle tone and shedding body fat!!! She is following the meal plan, drinking her Shakeology, getting in her workouts and posting in the private face book group to stay accountable. :)

Five Day Fit Food Challenge

I like to run these Free Challenges as a way for you to learn more about what eating healthy is all about. I share many tips with you including recipes and a meal plan guide for you to use and help you decide what foods work well for your body. One way of eating is not right for everyone and often we think we have to eat like are friend who is lean in order to lose weight and see results.
